The Tide Letter

When you subscribe, The Open Oyster Press stores your email address, registration time and source. New subscriptions also record the signup wording and consent time. We use these records to deliver the welcome email and The Tide Letter: one letter a season.

Unsubscribing removes you from the active mailing list. The subscription and unsubscribe history is retained separately to record your choice. Signing up again starts a new active subscription. Unsubscribe from any letter or contact info@theopenoysterpress.com to ask about your data or request its correction or deletion.

Services that make this work

We do not sell your email address. We use Resend to send email and Upstash to store subscription records. The website and its functions are hosted on Vercel. These services process the information needed to provide those functions, which can include delivery records and technical request information.

Visiting the website

Your language preference is saved in your browser so it can be remembered on your next visit. The pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts that service when loading the fonts. No advertising or audience-tracking script is included in the current site source. Existing shop code may read a basket stored in your browser; direct ordering is currently closed.
